Ready to take your business idea from concept to reality but not sure how to get started? This workshop series is designed for entrepreneurs who want a quick way to understand the fundamentals of starting a business. Delivered by expert practitioners, these lively workshops will give you practical tips and resources to help you get off the ground. At the end of the series, you will walk away with a better understanding of where to start and a host of resources in your back pocket to help you grow. You’ll also be fully prepared for consulting and our LEADING EDGE Business Planning Course.

Business Foundations: Marketing

Business Foundations: Finance

You must hire employees to help serve your customers while following the HR regulations, but you don’t want to be too “corporate-like” when it comes to policies and procedures. This seminar will provide you with a basic framework to hire, fire, and manage employees in your small business without turning it into a bureaucratic nightmare.

Business Foundations Grant

Every business that completes the January 2022 Business Foundations Track is eligible to receive a $1,200 grant from the Office of Economic Development and International Trade. You can learn more HERE. We encourage all Colorado small businesses to apply.

Provide the documents listed below:

Secretary of State registration certificate

Employee ID Number (EIN) certificate

State Tax ID Number, if applicable

Other states business licenses, if applicable

Colorado Self Service System registration

your business budget sheet

your business cash flow sheet

your business balance sheet
